The 2009 100 Line Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon is marked by its generosity of flavour and accessibility. It takes classic Connawarra characters and blends them with lush, juicy fruit and the smoothest of textures. Aromas of blackcurrants, cassis, liquorice, cedar and cool mintiness jump out of the glass. They are joined on the palate by mineral, spice and hint of leafiness. It is medium-boiled, elegant and has ripe tannins which contribute to a very smooth mouthfeel. The texture, richness and freshness show just why the Terra Rossa strip is so well loved.
