It is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, the rest Merlot and Petit Verdot. (The 2004 is 94% Cabernet Sauvignon.) A slightly bigger cuvee of nearly 1,200 cases, the wine has an almost French personality with its elegant, pure cedary and black currant fruit intermixed with hints of chocolate, oak, and earth. The tannins are supple, and the wine medium to full-bodied, very enjoyable already, yet capable of lasting 12-15 years.”
